Our Business Development team plays a critical role in driving growth by building meaningful client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to bring projects to life.
The Business Development Manager is a mid-level, individual contributor role responsible for managing the full business development process — from lead nurturing through closing deals — while supporting revenue targets and fostering long-term client growth.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
• Manage and nurture leads throughout the entire business development lifecycle, with a focus on conversion and long-term client growth.
• Own proposal development, scope comprehension, and client pitching with confidence and clarity.
• Work toward assigned revenue targets through consistent prospecting, follow-up, and relationship building.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, upsell, and expanded partnerships.
• Build strong rapport with clients through clear, prompt, and professional communication.
• Serve as a primary client-facing partner during early engagement and project handoff phases.
• Confidently speak to Zenpack’s design, printing, and production processes.
• Anticipate client needs through thoughtful follow-up and retargeting strategies.
• Manage the full BD process from initial outreach through close.
• Maintain accurate and consistent CRM input, with an understanding of lead data, tracking, and reporting.

Our procurement team members are critical in ensuring feasibility of packaging project through quoting and knowledge of production processes and by informing Business Development and Project Management teams through the life cycle of projects.
The Procurement Specialist is a mid-level role that will heavily collaborate internally with the Project Management and Business Development teams while supporting on Client pitches and meetings by serving as a source of production knowledge. This role will be responsible for the intake of complex packaging design and production programs including assessing feasibility, quoting for proposals, sourcing OTS packaging, and internal handoff for mass production.
Quote Creation & Management
• Coordinate quotes and ensuring alignment with Client RFPs and briefings.
• Fast turn-around on estimates for specifications that are still under development.
• Effectively relay information for production quotes and ability to anticipate client questions or decisions relating to quoted items.
• Ongoing prompt communications between teams during proposal process.
• Ensure smooth transitions from proposal process to production kick offs/hand-offs.
• Serve as the resident expert on printing and production processes.
• Attend client pitches to confidently speak to production questions and make recommendations based on understanding of client projects.
• Up-to-date on different technologies and approaches in order to suggest options when appropriate.
• Own and manage sourcing off-the-shelf options for sourcing scopes.
• Engage with team members in China to help identify appropriate turn-key solutions.
• Provide direction based on project inputs and ability to speak to team questions on behalf of the client.
• Build, manage, and maintain a digital packaging production library of reference images used for pitches and education.
• Serve as reference library custodian organizing and structuring library that is intuitive for team members to use as a tool.
• 3–6+ years of experience with procurement, packaging production, manufacturing operations, or supply chain (packaging-heavy experience preferred).
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent requests involving cross-functional internal teams.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability in fast-paced environments and timelines.
• Strong working knowledge of packaging production workflows and packaging forms & materials.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
• Expertise with print processes (offset, digital, flexo concepts), finishing techniques, and common production risks.
• Experience with multi-component packaging systems such as PR kits, inserts, trays, and mixed-material assemblies.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing teams.
